Borden Parish Council

Borden is an extensive parish, the village being situated about one-and-a-half miles in a westerly direction from Sittingbourne. The industries carried on in the parish are agricultural, the crops being principally fruit, hops, and corn. The soil is mould and peat, with chalk and gravel subsoil.

Winners will be announced for the following categories : best garden, best garden accompaniments and most environmental garden.
The Parish Council would like to hear from youngsters with any ideas of what they would like to see in the village for them to do.
